Cream Syrup Varieties

Cinnamon Cream Syrup
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup light corn syrup
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¾ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup evaporated milk
  Cinnamon Cream Syrup
 
Directions:
  • In a saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup, water and cinnamon.
  • Bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil for 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from the heat.
  • Cool for 5 minutes. Stir in milk.
  • Serve warm over pancakes, waffles or French toast.
 
Vanilla Cream Syrup
Ingredients:
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup light corn syrup
  • ½ cup whipping cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup fresh fruit, diced, or fresh berries
  Vanilla Cream Syrup
 
Procedure:
  • Combine sugar, corn syrup and cream in a 1-quart pan. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Simmer for 2 minutes or until syrup thickens slightly. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla extract and fruit.
  • Serve over pancakes or waffles.
